ActionSEO Audit · Version 1.13.58
ActionSEO: a practical SEO audit tool that turns findings into clear actions.
Run a website SEO audit, see the exact URLs affected, prioritise technical and on-page fixes, connect Search Console and GA4, track keywords, and prove progress over time.
Project Overview
Your project home: see health, visibility, outcomes, content opportunities and the next SEO action in one visual view.
Projects
Create one project per website and target market. The same domain can have separate UK, US, Germany or Brazil projects.
Create an account before building a project
You can still run a free single-page audit. Creating an account lets ActionSEO save projects, history, keyword maps, Google connections and reports, so you will not need to enter the project information twice.
Run an SEO audit
Choose one page for a quick check or crawl a filtered part of the project domain. ActionSEO saves the latest report for the active project and groups evidence page by page.
Audit history
Compare saved scans and see whether fixes improved the score.
SEO missions
Missions are the work queue created from audit evidence and Search Console opportunities.
Selected keywords
Track target phrases, markets and landing pages. If Search Console has already been imported, ActionSEO automatically matches each phrase to the best visible page and performance data.
Google Search Console
Import clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, pages and keyword opportunities.
Keyword clustering and content map
Group related queries into one primary page, supporting keywords, FAQs and related pages to create. Saved plans become reusable keyword maps. You can keep up to eight active maps per project, so the workspace stays focused.
Generate keyword map suggestionsPaste keywords or use tracked terms, then save the best map.
Paste keywords from research, a client brief or a spreadsheet. Suggestions stay separate until you save a map.
Create a custom keyword mapUse this when you already know the page, FAQs and related content.
GA4 organic performance
Connect SEO work to organic users, sessions, engagement, key events and revenue.
G-. Click Choose GA4 property after authorising GA4, then connect the exact property that belongs to this website.Competitor discovery
Add competitor domains, load their on-page keyword themes, and compare them against your project keywords and latest GSC queries.
Optional: import ranking positions by CSV
keyword,competitor_domain,position,ranking_url,dateClient tracker
Detailed client-facing update, audit evidence, health areas, outcomes and project actions. The Dashboard is the quick visual overview.

Getting started tutorial
Follow the practical ActionSEO workflow from project setup to a client-ready report.
Start from the Project Overview
The Dashboard is the quickest view of project health, search visibility, organic outcomes and the next recommended action. Use the project search to jump to a keyword, page, issue or report. The dashboard language can be changed at the top; project content language and report language remain independent.

Create one project per website and market
Enter the company name, website, target country, primary device, content language, target topics and business goal. These settings control crawl scope, GSC filters and the context used by recommendations. Use separate projects when the same domain targets different countries.

Use the Project Command Centre
The command centre shows setup progress, data-source freshness, plan usage, reliability and the next action. Complete the guided setup once, then use this page whenever you need to understand what is missing before running more reports.

Understand plan limits before a large crawl
Plans and usage separates single-page audits, project domain crawls, domains and tracked keywords. A domain crawl does not consume a single-page audit. Check the remaining allowance and URL limit before choosing a broad crawl.

Run a controlled audit and review the evidence
Choose a single priority URL for a quick audit or a domain crawl for wider coverage. For the first crawl, use a conservative URL limit, exclude checkout, account, search and parameter URLs, and use Fast scan. After the run, open Crawled pages to filter Errors, Warnings and Notices, then use Audit history to compare the current audit with the previous one.

Turn findings into Missions
Audit is diagnosis; Missions is the prioritised work queue; re-audit is verification. Build missions from high-priority findings, complete the live fix, record the decision, and only mark it resolved after checking the published page or rerunning the audit.

Connect Google Search Console
Authorise read-only access, load the verified property and import the required date range. GSC supplies verified clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. Use the Opportunities view to find pages with strong impressions but weak clicks or CTR, and use inventory/indexing views to investigate visibility problems.

Compare competitors without claiming live rankings
Add up to the number of competitors allowed by the plan, choose a crawl focus and refresh their public pages. The workspace compares the client’s tracked/GSC topics with competitor page themes, source pages and content gaps. Native discovery is on-page evidence, not traditional SERP rank tracking.

Connect GA4 for business outcomes
Authorise Analytics separately, choose the numeric GA4 Property ID and load the report. GA4 shows organic sessions, active users, engagement, key events, purchases and revenue. Search Console remains the source for impressions, CTR and position.

Track keywords and create a content map
Add the searches the project should win, then use tracked keywords or pasted research to suggest clusters. Save one primary page, supporting terms, FAQ ideas and related pages for each topic. GSC can connect tracked phrases with the best visible landing page; ActionSEO does not invent search volume or difficulty.

Prepare the next client-facing update
Client Tracker brings together the next update, health, outstanding risks, search visibility, organic outcomes and the audit fix queue. Use it before a meeting to decide what changed, what remains open and what the client should hear next.

Generate and save the client report
Select a reporting period, choose previous-period and/or previous-year comparison, and include only the sections the client needs. Agency users can apply white-label branding. Save the report, open it and use Print → Save as PDF.

ActionSEO launch tool
The SEO platform that shows you what to fix — using data Google actually verifies
ActionSEO audits your website against 238 SEO checks, connects your real Google Search Console and GA4 data, turns everything into a prioritised work queue, and generates client-ready reports.
No estimated search volumes pulled from thin air. No inflated difficulty scores. ActionSEO is built on a simple principle from the SEO in Action method: work from data you can verify, fix what matters most first, and measure the result.
Evidence, not SEO noise
Built around page-level evidence and verified Google data
Every audit issue is tied to evidence. If there is a broken link, you see the page where it was found and the URL it points to. If a title is duplicated, you see the affected pages. If a sitemap or indexability signal needs attention, the tool points you toward the relevant Search Console context instead of turning every warning into a panic message.

Who it is for
Built for practical SEO work
Freelancers and consultants who need one affordable place to audit, monitor and report on client sites.
Small business owners doing their own SEO who want a ranked to-do list backed by evidence.
Small agencies managing multiple client sites without wanting enterprise-level software costs.
Readers of SEO in Action who want a tool that follows the same practical method from the book.
What ActionSEO is not
Honest scope
ActionSEO is not a backlink database. It is not a SERP-scraping rank tracker. It is not a keyword-volume prediction tool.
If you need large-scale backlink discovery, Ahrefs, SE Ranking or similar research platforms are better suited to that job. If you need a technical desktop crawler for very large sites, Screaming Frog may be the right tool.
ActionSEO is for website owners, marketers, freelancers and small agencies who want a practical SEO workflow: audit the site, connect verified Google data, prioritise work, track progress and create clear reports.
Frequently asked questions
ActionSEO questions
What does an SEO audit check?
A complete SEO audit reviews technical health, indexability, redirects, canonicals, speed, on-page elements, content quality, links, media and structured data. ActionSEO runs 238 checks and attaches evidence where available so you can see which pages are affected and why.
Is the Search Console and GA4 data real or estimated?
Real. ActionSEO connects to your Google Search Console and GA4 properties with read-only OAuth access and displays the data Google recorded for your site, including clicks, impressions, positions, sessions, key events and revenue where available.
Why does ActionSEO not show search volume or keyword difficulty?
ActionSEO focuses on verified website data rather than broad estimates. Search-volume and difficulty numbers are usually modelled by third-party databases, and they can be unreliable for smaller sites, niche terms and non-English markets. ActionSEO uses your Search Console clicks, impressions, CTR and average position so you can work from data Google actually recorded for your site.
How is ActionSEO different from Semrush or Ahrefs?
Semrush and Ahrefs are research databases with backlink indexes and broad keyword datasets. ActionSEO is a workflow tool for your own sites: audit, prioritise, fix, verify with real Google data and report.
Can I white-label reports for my clients?
Yes. The Agency plan includes white-label report options such as your logo, accent colour and footer text, with period-controlled progress reports.
What happens when my annual access ends?
Your account may enter a grace/read-only period and your projects may be preserved according to the ActionSEO Terms and Data Retention policy. Renew to reactivate the same account and continue using your history.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. ActionSEO runs on yourseoebook.com. You create an account, add your site URL and audit it externally. Connecting Search Console and GA4 is optional and uses Google’s secure OAuth flow.
Does ActionSEO work in Portuguese?
Yes. The interface and reports are available in English and Portuguese (Brasil).
Can I try it before buying an annual plan?
Yes. You can start with the 30-day ActionSEO trial. Trial access is available once per customer, does not renew automatically and plan limits apply.
Method
Built on the SEO in Action method
ActionSEO is built by Mariana Yamakawa, SEO consultant and author of the SEO in Action ebook. The audit checklist and workflow follow the same system: fix your foundations, verify with real data, then expand.
The philosophy is simple: SEO does not need to be overwhelming. It needs to be practical, prioritised and honest about what the data can and cannot tell you.
