ActionSEO Audit · Version 1.13.58

ActionSEO: a practical SEO audit tool that turns findings into clear actions.

Run a website SEO audit, see the exact URLs affected, prioritise technical and on-page fixes, connect Search Console and GA4, track keywords, and prove progress over time.

Action-first SEO Audit → Missions → Fixes → GSC/GA4 progress → Reports

Project Overview

Your project home: see health, visibility, outcomes, content opportunities and the next SEO action in one visual view.

Projects

Create one project per website and target market. The same domain can have separate UK, US, Germany or Brazil projects.

ProjectThe website and client workspace.
MarketThe country and device used for GSC filters and competitor checks.
Content languageThe language used for content guidance and reports. It can differ from the dashboard language.
Audit rangeThe URLs and discovery source used by crawls.

Run an SEO audit

Choose one page for a quick check or crawl a filtered part of the project domain. ActionSEO saves the latest report for the active project and groups evidence page by page.

Loading plan limits…

The selected focus adjusts audit priorities and recommendations.

Domain crawl settings

Note: example text inside empty boxes is only a placeholder and does not filter anything. The crawl count means auditable URLs selected for this run, not Google indexed pages. Fast scans avoid most remote link/image status probes; deep scans provide more HTTP evidence.

Audit history

Compare saved scans and see whether fixes improved the score.

SEO missions

Missions are the work queue created from audit evidence and Search Console opportunities.

Audit = diagnosisFinds issues, records affected URLs and explains the evidence.
Missions = prioritised actionSelects what to work on next and translates findings into manageable tasks.
Re-audit = verificationConfirms whether the live page changed and the issue was actually resolved.

Selected keywords

Track target phrases, markets and landing pages. If Search Console has already been imported, ActionSEO automatically matches each phrase to the best visible page and performance data.

Project marketChoose a project to inherit its country and device.
Data sources: Search Console can provide clicks, impressions, CTR, an impression-weighted average position and the best-performing page for your own site, filtered by the project country/device. Exact neutral ranks, competitor positions, featured-snippet/AI monitoring, keyword difficulty and search volume require an optional SERP/keyword-data provider and are never invented by ActionSEO.

Google Search Console

Import clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, pages and keyword opportunities.

Workflow: connect your read-only Google account, choose the exact verified Search Console property, import the date range, then use Sync now for future updates. Use All countries/devices to match the default GSC Performance chart. Use Project market only only when you intentionally want country/device-filtered SEO data.

Keyword clustering and content map

Group related queries into one primary page, supporting keywords, FAQs and related pages to create. Saved plans become reusable keyword maps. You can keep up to eight active maps per project, so the workspace stays focused.

Generate keyword map suggestionsPaste keywords or use tracked terms, then save the best map.

Paste keywords from research, a client brief or a spreadsheet. Suggestions stay separate until you save a map.

Create a custom keyword mapUse this when you already know the page, FAQs and related content.
Uses the primary keyword and saved topic terms. You can edit everything before saving.

GA4 organic performance

Connect SEO work to organic users, sessions, engagement, key events and revenue.

Report metrics — choose up to five
Important: GA4 uses a numeric Property ID, not the Measurement ID beginning with G-. Click Choose GA4 property after authorising GA4, then connect the exact property that belongs to this website.

Competitor discovery

Add competitor domains, load their on-page keyword themes, and compare them against your project keywords and latest GSC queries.

Competitor discovery settingsChoose the page type to crawl before refreshing saved competitors. Use custom URLs when you know the exact competitor pages to compare.
Optional: import ranking positions by CSV
Add exact competitor positionsUse this only when you have ranking positions from a trusted source. Discovery above shows competitor targeting; CSV adds actual position evidence.keyword,competitor_domain,position,ranking_url,date

Client tracker

Detailed client-facing update, audit evidence, health areas, outcomes and project actions. The Dashboard is the quick visual overview.

Agency workspace

Review all client sites and identify which project needs attention first.

AI Fix Coach

Plain-English explanations and practical fixes. API keys remain on the WordPress server.

Use it: run an audit, then select “Coach me” under any issue.

E-E-A-T score

Check experience, expertise, authority and trust signals from the latest audit.

Schema generator

Choose a schema type, add the fields you need, and generate copy-ready JSON-LD.

Client reports

Generate, save, print or export progress reports. Agency users can apply white-label branding.

How ActionSEO works

A practical workflow that turns SEO data into clear actions.

1
Diagnose

Create the project and run an audit to collect evidence.

2
Prioritise

Use the Command Centre and Missions to decide what matters first.

3
Implement

Complete the fix and record the change, reason and follow-up date.

4
Measure

Use GSC, GA4 and snapshots to compare visibility and outcomes.

5
Report

Select a period, comparison and only the sections the client needs.

AuditChoose a starting URL, keyword, crawl range and discovery source. For a quicker scan, select fewer URLs and Fast mode. Exclude cart, checkout, account, login, query-parameter and noindex utility pages, or filter to specific sitemap names. Open each issue to see one affected page beside its own values, assets and destinations. The latest saved report reopens automatically when you return.
HistoryEvery saved crawl is a snapshot. Select a previous audit to reopen the full report without spending another crawl allowance.
MissionsTurn high-impact audit and GSC findings into a work list. Mark something fixed only after checking the live page, then re-audit later to verify it.
KeywordsAdd one phrase per line and optionally assign a target page. Country and device are inherited automatically from the active project. GSC positions are impression-weighted averages, not neutral live rank checks. Volume and difficulty need an optional external data provider.
ClusteringCreate a keyword map with a primary target, secondary terms, questions and related pages. Save the plan, add its keywords to tracking or export it as CSV.
Search ConsoleUse the single GSC action button to connect Google, choose the verified property and refresh queries/pages. The project country and device are applied as GSC filters where supported.
GA4GA4 needs a separate read-only permission because Analytics and Search Console are different Google products. Choose the numeric property to track organic sessions, conversions and revenue.
CompetitorsUse native competitor discovery to crawl a small set of public competitor pages and estimate on-page keyword targeting. Optional CSV import can add exact ranking positions when you have them.
Useful toolsOpen the schema generator, E-E-A-T missions, AI Overview readiness, competitor discovery, reports and Google data tools from the sidebar or top menu.
ReportsSelect 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 days, compare with the previous period and/or the same period last year, apply Agency branding, then open and print the saved report as PDF.

ActionSEO launch tool

The SEO platform that shows you what to fix — using data Google actually verifies

ActionSEO audits your website against 238 SEO checks, connects your real Google Search Console and GA4 data, turns everything into a prioritised work queue, and generates client-ready reports.

No estimated search volumes pulled from thin air. No inflated difficulty scores. ActionSEO is built on a simple principle from the SEO in Action method: work from data you can verify, fix what matters most first, and measure the result.

Evidence, not SEO noise

Built around page-level evidence and verified Google data

Every audit issue is tied to evidence. If there is a broken link, you see the page where it was found and the URL it points to. If a title is duplicated, you see the affected pages. If a sitemap or indexability signal needs attention, the tool points you toward the relevant Search Console context instead of turning every warning into a panic message.

Audit evidencePage URLs, affected assets, broken links, canonicals, redirects and issue details where available.
Verified GSC dataClicks, impressions, CTR and average position from the property you connect.
GA4 outcomesOrganic sessions, engagement, key events, purchases and revenue when your property is connected.
MissionsA ranked work queue that turns audit findings into practical next actions.

ActionSEO is not trying to replace every enterprise SEO database. It is built for a more practical job: audit your own site, connect verified Google data, decide what to fix next, and report progress clearly.

Being upfront about the gaps: ActionSEO does not maintain a backlink index, scrape live SERPs, or estimate keyword volume and difficulty. Those features require large external datasets and expensive providers, and the estimates are often inconsistent for smaller sites and non-English markets. ActionSEO focuses on what you can verify: your website audit evidence, your Search Console data, your GA4 outcomes, and the next SEO actions that can actually be worked on.

Who it is for

Built for practical SEO work

Freelancers and consultants who need one affordable place to audit, monitor and report on client sites.

Small business owners doing their own SEO who want a ranked to-do list backed by evidence.

Small agencies managing multiple client sites without wanting enterprise-level software costs.

Readers of SEO in Action who want a tool that follows the same practical method from the book.

What ActionSEO is not

Honest scope

ActionSEO is not a backlink database. It is not a SERP-scraping rank tracker. It is not a keyword-volume prediction tool.

If you need large-scale backlink discovery, Ahrefs, SE Ranking or similar research platforms are better suited to that job. If you need a technical desktop crawler for very large sites, Screaming Frog may be the right tool.

ActionSEO is for website owners, marketers, freelancers and small agencies who want a practical SEO workflow: audit the site, connect verified Google data, prioritise work, track progress and create clear reports.

Frequently asked questions

ActionSEO questions

What does an SEO audit check?

A complete SEO audit reviews technical health, indexability, redirects, canonicals, speed, on-page elements, content quality, links, media and structured data. ActionSEO runs 238 checks and attaches evidence where available so you can see which pages are affected and why.

Is the Search Console and GA4 data real or estimated?

Real. ActionSEO connects to your Google Search Console and GA4 properties with read-only OAuth access and displays the data Google recorded for your site, including clicks, impressions, positions, sessions, key events and revenue where available.

Why does ActionSEO not show search volume or keyword difficulty?

ActionSEO focuses on verified website data rather than broad estimates. Search-volume and difficulty numbers are usually modelled by third-party databases, and they can be unreliable for smaller sites, niche terms and non-English markets. ActionSEO uses your Search Console clicks, impressions, CTR and average position so you can work from data Google actually recorded for your site.

How is ActionSEO different from Semrush or Ahrefs?

Semrush and Ahrefs are research databases with backlink indexes and broad keyword datasets. ActionSEO is a workflow tool for your own sites: audit, prioritise, fix, verify with real Google data and report.

Can I white-label reports for my clients?

Yes. The Agency plan includes white-label report options such as your logo, accent colour and footer text, with period-controlled progress reports.

What happens when my annual access ends?

Your account may enter a grace/read-only period and your projects may be preserved according to the ActionSEO Terms and Data Retention policy. Renew to reactivate the same account and continue using your history.

Do I need to install anything on my website?

No. ActionSEO runs on yourseoebook.com. You create an account, add your site URL and audit it externally. Connecting Search Console and GA4 is optional and uses Google’s secure OAuth flow.

Does ActionSEO work in Portuguese?

Yes. The interface and reports are available in English and Portuguese (Brasil).

Can I try it before buying an annual plan?

Yes. You can start with the 30-day ActionSEO trial. Trial access is available once per customer, does not renew automatically and plan limits apply.

Method

Built on the SEO in Action method

ActionSEO is built by Mariana Yamakawa, SEO consultant and author of the SEO in Action ebook. The audit checklist and workflow follow the same system: fix your foundations, verify with real data, then expand.

The philosophy is simple: SEO does not need to be overwhelming. It needs to be practical, prioritised and honest about what the data can and cannot tell you.
