SEO overview
Preview one URL now, or create a free account when you want a saved project and audit history.
Projects
Select the website you are working on, or create a separate project when the same domain targets a different market.
Create a free account before building a saved project
Without an account you can preview one URL, but it is temporary. The Free plan currently adds 1 saved project, basic Audit history/evidence, 1 saved single-page audit/month, 1 domain crawl/month up to 10 URLs and up to 5 tracked keywords. Google connections, Missions, keyword clusters, reports and other paid workspaces stay locked until your plan includes them.
Audit
Preview one URL without an account. The result is temporary; create a free account for saved history and the monthly 10-URL domain crawl.
Run / Re-run auditOpen the audit setup only when you are ready to scan again.⌄
Audit setup
Anonymous preview checks one URL only and does not create a project or Audit history. A free account includes one saved single-page audit/month and one saved domain crawl/month up to 10 URLs.
Audit history
Compare saved scans and see whether fixes improved the score.
Your 1-page preview is not a saved audit
Create a free account to keep basic Audit history and evidence. The Free plan currently includes 1 saved project, 1 single-page audit/month, 1 domain crawl/month up to 10 URLs and up to 5 tracked keywords.
SEO missions
Missions are the work queue created from audit evidence and Search Console opportunities.
Tracked keywords
Review the keywords already being monitored first, then add more manually or discover useful real queries from Search Console.
Your tracked keywords
These are the terms ActionSEO will monitor and can include in client reports.
Discover more keywords from Search ConsoleAdd real queries without pushing your tracked-keyword data down the page.
Google Search Console
Import clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, pages and keyword opportunities.
Keyword clustering and content map
Group related queries into one primary page, supporting keywords, FAQs and related pages to create. Saved plans become reusable keyword maps. You can keep up to eight active maps per project, so the workspace stays focused.
Generate keyword map suggestionsPaste keywords or use tracked terms, then save the best map.
Paste keywords from research, a client brief or a spreadsheet. Suggestions stay separate until you save a map.
Create a custom keyword mapUse this when you already know the page, FAQs and related content.
GA4 organic performance
Connect SEO work to organic users, sessions, engagement, key events and revenue.
G-. Click Choose GA4 property after authorising GA4, then connect the exact property that belongs to this website.Competitors
Keep the list short, open one competitor at a time, and load search intelligence only when you need it.
Find competitors that overlap with your search market
Discovery suggests domains. Saving a competitor does not use a competitor-intelligence refresh.
Your competitors
Select a competitor to view existing data. If no search snapshot exists yet, you can load it using the allowance shown above.

Getting started tutorial
Follow the practical ActionSEO workflow from project setup to a client-ready report.
Start from the Project Overview
The Dashboard is the quickest view of project health, search visibility, organic outcomes and the next recommended action. Use the project search to jump to a keyword, page, issue or report. The dashboard language can be changed at the top; project content language and report language remain independent.
Create one project per website and market
Enter the company name, website, target country, primary device, content language, target topics and business goal. These settings control crawl scope, GSC filters and the context used by recommendations. Use separate projects when the same domain targets different countries.
Use the Project Command Centre
The command centre shows setup progress, data-source freshness, plan usage, reliability and the next action. Complete the guided setup once, then use this page whenever you need to understand what is missing before running more reports.
Understand plan limits before a large crawl
Plans and usage separates single-page audits, project domain crawls, domains and tracked keywords. A domain crawl does not consume a single-page audit. Check the remaining allowance and URL limit before choosing a broad crawl.
Run a controlled audit and review the evidence
Choose a single priority URL for a quick audit or a domain crawl for wider coverage. For the first crawl, use a conservative URL limit, exclude checkout, account, search and parameter URLs, and use Fast scan. After the run, open Crawled pages to filter Errors, Warnings and Notices, then use Audit history to compare the current audit with the previous one.
Turn findings into Missions
Audit is diagnosis; Missions is the prioritised work queue; re-audit is verification. Build missions from high-priority findings, complete the live fix, record the decision, and only mark it resolved after checking the published page or rerunning the audit.
Connect Google Search Console
Authorise read-only access, load the verified property and import the required date range. GSC supplies verified clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. Use the Opportunities view to find pages with strong impressions but weak clicks or CTR, and use inventory/indexing views to investigate visibility problems.
Compare competitors with the right data source
Save the competitors that matter. Native page analysis compares public-page themes and content gaps without using a paid lookup. On supported plans, use a competitor-intelligence refresh when you want clearly labelled third-party ranking positions, shared keywords, search volume, keyword difficulty, intent and relevant gap opportunities.
Connect GA4 for business outcomes
Authorise Analytics separately, choose the numeric GA4 Property ID and load the report. GA4 shows organic sessions, active users, engagement, key events, purchases and revenue. Search Console remains the source for impressions, CTR and position.
Track keywords and create a content map
Add the searches the project should win, then use tracked keywords or pasted research to suggest clusters. Save one primary page, supporting terms, FAQ ideas and related pages for each topic. GSC remains the source for your own site’s clicks, impressions, CTR and average position; supported competitor-intelligence views can add clearly labelled third-party volume, difficulty and intent estimates.
Prepare the next client-facing update
Client Tracker brings together the next update, health, outstanding risks, search visibility, organic outcomes and the audit fix queue. Use it before a meeting to decide what changed, what remains open and what the client should hear next.
Generate and save the client report
Select a reporting period, choose previous-period and/or previous-year comparison, and include only the sections the client needs. Agency users can apply white-label branding. Save the report, open it and use Print → Save as PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions users most often need while working in ActionSEO.
Why does Search Console show no data?
Confirm the exact verified Search Console property, the active ActionSEO project, the country/device scope and the selected date range. Then refresh the import. A project can be connected correctly and still have no rows for a very narrow market or date range.
Why is GA4 separate from Search Console?
They are different Google products with different permissions and properties. Search Console measures search visibility. GA4 measures sessions, engagement, key events and revenue. Choose the numeric GA4 Property ID that belongs to the active website.
What should I do after marking an issue resolved?
Publish the real website change, then re-run the audit. “Resolved” records your work state; the next audit verifies whether the live evidence actually changed.
Is the AI readiness score a Google score?
No. It is an ActionSEO advisory score based on visible page evidence such as direct answers, depth, structure, schema and trust signals. Google AI visibility is a separate first-party Search Console dataset.
Will Google AI visibility sync automatically?
ActionSEO now checks the connected Search Console API during every GSC sync for an explicit AI search-appearance value returned by Google. When Google exposes one, ActionSEO imports the available Date/Page rows automatically. If the dedicated dataset is not exposed through the API for the property, the verified Search Console export/import remains the safe fallback; ActionSEO does not scrape Google or invent AI query data.
Why can a tracked keyword have no position?
ActionSEO uses observed Search Console data for your own site. If the query had no impressions in the selected period or market, Search Console may not return a usable average-position row. That is different from a neutral live rank check.
Should every competitor gap become a new page?
No. Open the competitor source pages, validate intent and compare them with your existing content first. The correct decision may be to improve an existing page, create a genuinely different page, track the term, or deliberately ignore it.
Can ActionSEO reports explain why performance changed?
ActionSEO reports measured change and the work you recorded. The generated executive summary stays conservative unless you add consultant context, so correlation is not presented as proven causation.
What is a performance checkpoint?
A checkpoint saves a reference point before a meaningful SEO change. Later reports can compare the current audit score, Search Console clicks and GA4 organic sessions with that baseline.
When should I use DataForSEO?
Use it only when you need optional market or competitor enrichment such as intent, search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC or paid ranking checks. Keep it separate from GSC first-party metrics and use the owner budget controls to limit spend.
